stuff like vintage story and gmod are fun and they draw people to the site, ill admit im not the best at dedication and planning so i wouldnt be the one to host the gamenight, ideally someone like Coalfarmer should host it as it'll bring in soyblog users (we could have a joint gamenight)

I ask myself this question sometimes, we've been here for awhile but we haven't found our niche (aside from sidposting) ideally the swinny is something we should emulate but the problem is the swinny already exists. we need to find our place. What will set us apart but also draw people here. another thing is i have no idea how many people actually browse the site. I also think we have too many boards that are too niche, i'd like to archive many of them and have some main boards

the board names explain themselves but /hob/ is the general hobby board for all hobbies, as we grow we'll add/readd specialized hobby boards but for now that will do, this board and other utility boards will stay but I think the rest should be hidden, not locked but not on the list.

i want to lock some of them as they have 3 year old posts that should be preserved but the others should just be hidden. I think we should keep the meta board and this one and consolidate the rest into the hobby board.
