Jeff the Killer is basically the Internet's dark reflection of Peter Pan , being a manifestation of the preteen love of all that is scary and edgy. He's a boy who never grows up and has adventures every day,and he's also your best friend who would totally slaughter your enemies. Both Peter pan and Jeff the Killer are marriages of the Puer aeternus and the Trickster archetype. Both started out as mundane,non magical boys,who Hy happenstance magically became these vessels of childhood, manifest of the same conclusion the adult world was too boring, too unfair, and ironically too chaotic. Both Peter Pan and Jeff the Killer have a very repetitive,cyclical nature to their habits,where all time is "playtime" and nothing ever meaningfully changes. They're always the same. And to a child, that's comforting.
