the great thing about sidson's design is that in the right angle it can express many emotions as needed in contexts unlike other jaks or sons who may need further editing. The only downside is that sidalts have to be more niche due to it's wide range.

While I do think that 3d Sidson is good for expressive scenes, I will probably stick with 2d Sidsons for now, since I think Sidson's neutral expression fits in with Greg's from the original book along with the overall artstyle. I may end up using it in future scenes at some point however.

I agree. Sidsons unlike other jaks have that Mona Lisa quality where you can apply almost any emotion to him and it works out. That's why it's so controversial it's too much of it's own compared to other jaks with set expressions and purposes

also funny coincidence but Frank Heffley does inherently have that Siddish quality we all know and love. So it really works. Tbh alot of hate of sidson is due to the fact he's quite a handsome jak. Well at least as handsome as a crudly drawn bald due with face pubes and a pencil stache can be. Sid does have that malevolence and mischievousness of most jaks but he lacks that outwards grotesqueness. More like a gargoyle than a tribal mask you know?

Sidsmug is perfect for this kinda stuff. He has that classic Russle Crowe neutrality but with a hint of sorrow. His twinkle in his eyes give a sense of innocence but their blackness revel it's malevolence. Like a chiquaha trying to bite you.

Thanks, hopefully I can get the whole book done within a few months, I have already cleared 1/4th of the book so far.
I haven't been able to make any pages for the last week since I was infected by an IVirus recently due to the local wagies at the restaurant not washing their hands, thankfully I have recovered now and the pages are back in production.
Also, for the record, all of the "Kuzzy has aids" jokes were made before I knew that Kuz actually had aids. I will probably retire Kuz as a character now since he has stepped down as leader and is not important to the story anymore.
